We’ve had ours for just over a month now and it’s still on the original battery. I have no idea exactly how long it’s supposed to last, but so far so good! I assume when it eventually runs out we’ll just replace the battery. Very happy with it.
I mainly bought this for when I’m at work during the day. I like that it actually makes an animal sound rather than just being a normal ball, so it feels like my cat has something that responds and keeps her interested when nobody is home. Really good little boredom buster.
The sound caught my cat’s attention immediately. He heard it from the other room and came running over to investigate. 😂 It’s much more interactive than the normal balls we have and he loves batting it around and chasing it.
My cat went absolutely mad for this when it first arrived. After a few days the excitement definitely wore off a little, so now I put it away and bring it back out every few days. That seems to make it exciting again!

Such a funny little toy. I think the sound is meant to be a frog? Whatever it is, my cat absolutely loves it and immediately goes into hunting mode when she hears it. The catnip inside definitely helps too!
My cat was OBSESSED with this for the first few days. 😂 She kept chasing it around the house every time it made the little animal sound. After about 3–4 days she wasn’t quite as interested, but to be fair she does this with literally every new toy. I’m just happy something kept her entertained for that long!
